Vocabulary Calendars/Pacing Guides

    The state Tennessee Department of Education Vocabulary Calendars are now revised. Please submit your calendar to the district office by August  17, 2009 on West Carroll's Vocabulary  Calendar Template.  Pacing Guides for first semester are due on August 17, 2009 and second semester pacing guides are due December 17, 2009.

New Standards Implementation

     New state standards are being implemented this school year in language arts, mathematics, and science. Social Studies standards have not changed. Teachers are required to document when they teach state standards using the West Carroll State Standards Checklists. If you find errors on the checklists, please contact one of the instructional supervisors at the district office so that the errors can be corrected. Some mathematical symbols on the upper level math lists have been left out since the software being used for typing the documents did not include those symbols.
